I moved to Orlando in March of 2014 to work as a character artist at EA Sports on Madden 15 and NBA Live 15. After shipping both titles I left EA to seek out a new challenge. I am currently the Senior Lead Artist at Evolution Ventures, leading a team of 7 artists creating real-time architectural visualization for both mobile and PC using Unity and UE4. Before moving to Orlando, I worked at Ferris State University as an Adjunct Instructor in the Digital Animation and Game Design program in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have worked with notable clients such as Dell, Cisco, Disney, Zynga, Kixeye, Mattel and Nickelodeon while working as the Lead Artist at YETi CGI. Furthermore, I have comprehensive knowledge of the creation of 3D characters and environments for mobile devices, consoles, and modern PC hardware. I also have extensive experience leading teams of 25 artists in creating content for games. I am passionate for creating the highest quality content for games that is both unique and memorable.

About Me

I have been working in the game industry for the past 14 years. My artistic career started in an unlikely place, the Army. I worked as a 25M; Multimedia Illustrator. This position gave me graphic design experience and the opportunity to work on murals. One year into my military service I was given the chance to work on a classified project that focused on digital simulation of occupied areas to help soldiers navigate unfamiliar terrain. I continued to work on that project, creating textures, vehicles models, and environmental assets until I was honorably discharged from the military in 2007. While still in the military, I started college courses. During this same time, I began managing sub-contractors on projects for Dell, Cisco and Sun Microsystems.

In 2007 I graduated college and began teaching at my Alma Mater, Ferris State University. Classes I have experience teaching include, Digital Sculpting (Zbrush), Traditional Drawing (graphite), Traditional Sculpting (Clay). In 2008 I began working at YETi CGI as Lead Artist. During the past five years I have shipped over 20 titles. Some of my clients include Zynga, Disney, Kixeye, and Nickelodeon.

I moved to Florida in early 2014. Since moving I have worked at EA Sports in Orlando as a character artist for Madden 15, 16, and NBA Live 15. Currently I am the Senior Lead Artist at Evolution Ventures helping to create photo-realistic interiors in  real-time interactive walk throughs.
